Aloha! I began tattooing in Hawaii at Priestess Ink, where I graduated from my apprenticeship under the owner, Momo. After tattooing for 4 years, my journey now continues in Southern California. My art began with a focus on darker, neo-traditional style, but I’ve dabbled in various other styles ranging from traditional to lettering to Neo-Japanese and more. Right now, I’m focusing on furthering my black and grey style. Hey! My name is Hanna, I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I spent many of my younger years at the skatepark, and there I became heavily influenced by the art and skate culture. I first grew an interest in graffiti and street art, which ultimately led to a huge passion for tattooing! I then focused my study of art towards tattooing, and began my tattoo journey in 2017 when I first walked into Black Raven Tattoo looking for an apprenticeship. After lots of hard work and years later, I am lucky to be tattooing along side the other artists at the shop! Kat has a formal art background. She attended Art Center College of Design and Yale Graduate School of Art. After Grad school she attended UCLA extension and studied graphic design. She fell in love with tattooing and apprenticed under Jonny Ocean. She has always had an interest in visual art and has developed a strong grasp of color, form, and design. Kat is adept in multiple styles of tattooing. She specializes in color realism, black and grey realism and fine line tattoos. Kat is meticulous and dedicated to her clients and the art of tattooing. She enjoys collaborating with her clients to balance their needs and wants with her own artistic sensibilities to create work that both the artist and client can be proud of. Born and raised in Los Angeles Nooseink's life spiraled into tattoos when as a child he first met his older brother who was covered head to toes in tattoos. Flash forward a decade or two now with a bachelor's degree in printmaking and 6 years of tattooing under his belt Nooseink works in all styles of tattooing with a preference for dark high contrast black and gray work and colorful illustrative style tattoos. In reality however there is sacredness when the needle touches your skin so he's happy to work with you on anything you can imagine tattoo wise. When he's not in California he's traveling to far off places to sling some more ink or just to hang and swing on a hammock.
